Yna turned 8 months today but we will celebrate it tomorrow. My husband and I were so sleepy and tired because she has a change of sleeping pattern - she's awake every 2 or 3 am. Yup. And that's until 5 in the morning. Then she will sleep again and will wake up at 6:30 or 7 am. I never thought that lack of sleep can give you a headache even if you take medicine. Anyways, there are lots of exciting things about her. She loves water, so much, she don't want taking a bath to end and I have to force her to get out of the tub. Not that it's a bad thing, it's fun actually. Also, she's now used to standing up whenever she can, but of course with support. She love it whenever I give her solid food especially mashed squash. Last Saturday we went to the mall to look for a nibbler or food feeder, it looks like a pacifier but instead of a teet, it's a net with opening where you can put a small piece of fruit or vegetable like carrot and your baby can suck on it without choking. It comes with a manual food grinder. So small and cute that you can bring it with you if you will travel. You can check some more information here.
Although we already bought a food processor (picture above), this one I think, would be more convenient and easy to use if you're traveling and if the vegetable will not need to be steamed, aside from the fact that it won't need electricity.
Yna is teething again, which mean that she's drooling more often and needs to have a needs to have a bib all the time. It's a good thing that I started brushing her teeth early because I'm not having any problem giving her a brush every night. Well of course she's still sucking her fingers. I don't know exactly why she always put her hands in my mouth as if she's grasping onto a branch of a tree whenever I carry her. It's kind of hurting me, and whenever I tell her to stop, she'll just smile at me and put her hand, again in my mouth. I was thinking that maybe she want me to know why she put them in hers.
Oh by the way, have I told you that I love books? It's as if it's part of being who I am. They say that if you start reading to your child at an early age, they would be able to adapt it that's why I bought a couple of books for my daughter and wishes that she too, would someday learn to love reading the way I do - no pressure. LOL! There's an article I've read which taught me much that I want to pursue the home library I was dreaming about when I was a kid with comfy couch beside the window. I'd like to put a lot of books in it which my children could read. Of course magazines as well.
